Long Overdue Update
Sorry that it has been so long since I posted. These last few weeks have been crazy! I’ve been getting ready for the semester to end with lots of homework and studying to do! A couple weeks ago my college chorale went on a 9 day tour to Chicago. We went all over Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. It was a great time and always a blessing to meet all these people and be ministered to as we minister, as well. This last week was not a good week for me. On Sunday evening I started getting a sore throat which turned into a horrible virus of some sort that kept me in bed all week. I still am recovering but as of Thursday, I’ve been able to go to classes and do what I need to slowly.
Adoration on Chorale Tour 2012
Lots has happened in terms of my upcoming trip to the Philippines. I got my tickets and traveler’s insurance which is a huge burden off my shoulder!
My flight itinerary is:
- Leave Minneapolis Airport at 8:35am on 5/31 and arrive in Detroit, MI Airport at 11:19am
- Leave Detroit Airport at 12:30pm and arrive in Seoul, Korea at 3:20pm on 6/1 (huge time zone change)
- Leave Seoul Airport at 7:50pm and arrive in Cebu at 11:35pm on 6/1 (13 hours ahead of MN time)
So, if I did the math right, with time zone changes, it’s a total of 26 hours of travel!
Coming back is not as nice:
- Leave Cebu Airport at 1:05am (yes, am) on 7/2 (my birthday!) and arrive in Seoul, Korea at 6:30am
- LONG LAYOVER! almost 11 hours….
- Leave Seoul Airport at 5:20pm and arrive in Detroit, MI at 5:35pm (huge time change, longer than a 15 min flight haha)
- Leave Detroit Airport at 7:35pm and arrive back in Minneapolis, MN at 8:34pm
So, I get to have a really long birthday but mostly spent in the airport. My total time in the airport or plane coming back is about 30.5 hours, with the time zone changes. 13 extra hours of my birthday =)
Also, I have a good amount of money that will be going to help the college and church in Cebu! I am very excited about what God has planned for that money! It has been exciting to see the money come in and see God working through this!
Prayer requests for right now would be for my health to keep getting better so I can get over this sickness; for me to get my school work done and not over-stress about it; for the details of the trip to be worked out and figured out and that the Holy Spirit would put his hand in that planning; for the extra funds to be used responsibly and in a way that is pleasing to the Lord.

The correct answer is that you obtain your Schedule B # by applying the General Rules of Interpretation. There are all day courses on tariff classification, and to do it correctly (for anything but the simplest products) often takes years to master. While your search engine may be a tool or aid in the classification process, by no means should you be instructing industry to classify their products using your search engine. This is not what the REGULATIONS THEMSELVES (Schedule B / HTSUS) state.

What I want to know is why, when I received the first questionaire, filled it out and returned it only 2 days after receiving it, so when I received the follow up questionaire, I threw it away (since I had already completed this and returned it), and now I have a census taker knocking on my door. Why I am being overwelled with census and others are not getting anything at all. This is very frustrating, especially when we are doing what is asked of us, to avoid being bothered with people showing up at our homes. If I wanted a census taker at my home, I would have not filled out my paperwork. Where did it go?

School children in the Arab countries are taught to read the language of the Quran. School children in England where until quite recently taught to read Latin. None of this says anything about the archaism or conservatism of the respective vernaculars.

these “difficult fiscal times” need not be difficult if only the Congress made corporations pay a fair tax, in many cases they are paying no taxes at all. Also, how about those at the top, pay their share too, getting rid of the Bush tax cuts surely will not make the millionaires and billionaires suffer financially. I have not received ANY forms, but I got a postcard telling me that I am breaking the law if I dont fill out a form… I called the phone number to request a form and got a recording that asked that, before I could talk with a human, I needed to have the number of the form I didnt receive….. I believe either the form was lost or stolen from my mail (since I received a card indicating that I “should have already received my form)
I dont have any problems with filling out the form and I do not want to get in trouble, but I cannot fill out a form if you do not send me one…..
You have no information on your site as to how to actually order a form and the phone numbers listed are for recorded messages that do not allow my talking with a real person…
I am very frustrated with this whole process and the amount of time it is taking from my work….. Very inefficient…..

Hey I have been wating this for awhile now hopeing that you would release any of your awsome projects. I understand that apple wont allow this kind of application yet, but there are tons of people out there with jailbroken iphones. Iv been jailbroken from the very first iphone. Why cant you just release a beta version for jailbroke users. There are a lot of us and incredible apps like this cant stay locked up forever. Apple might never allow Image Tracking AR. If you have a jailbroken iphone im sure you understand cydias ability to distribute applications. You could even add a price. When you said, May 4th, that you were, “switching to another less restrictive platform for our research” I had to react. When you have already achived more than anyone else on the iphone. Its like solving the energy crises, not telling anyone anthing except that you solved it, then moving on to solve world hunger. Im sure your next projects are going to be huge succeses, but please if your just going to end your work with the iphone at least open the doors for others to continue testing it.

Times t0, t1, and t2 are essentially point-like, but this conflicts semantically with “know”, which (in this meaning at least) extends over a time range. I wonder if perceptions of cyclical naming have to do with general classes of names rather than specific names. For example, it’s pretty easy to see on babynamevoyager that names beginning with vowels were more popular at the beginning and end of the 20th century than in the middle (and this is true of each vowel individually up to some small sample size weirdness with U, which makes me think it’s a real trend). I could easily imagine that someone born in 1950 would grow up thinking that vowel-names sounded old-fashioned, and then transferring that impression to the newly popular vowel-names of the 80s and 90s, even though they formed the impression on Albert and Ethel and the new names were Ethan and Olivia…

I’m in Orange County and actually haven’t seen the power generators out here yet. However, I think it’s important that we, as a nation invest in alternative and especially renewable energy. Not to mention the jobs that these large projects produce. It will be nice to see more companies embracing renewable energy and working together to solve the energy crisis.
